Vintage Brass Greyhound Fire Dogs

This rare, and fabulous pair of brass greyhounds, are “fire dogs”, which were originally designed to grace the mantel of an English fireplace.

Each one is named after, and meant to honor, two famous greyhound Waterloo Cup winners: Master McGrath and Coomassie.
They each stand 7 1/2″ tall and extend 9 1/2″ in length. They are each in excellent condition.
