This exquisite Borzoi dog figurine was made in the Augarten Porcelain factory in Vienna, during the original period.

Measuring a full 6″ tall x 11″ long x 6″ wide, it is the largest version of this amazing porcelain dog.

The details are exceptionally gorgeous, including realistic fur lines, hand-painted black accents on this antique dog’s eyes, toenails, and muzzle, and pale pink highlights on the inside edge of the dog’s ears.

It is marked on the underside with the Augarten  blue shield and crown, with the word “Wien” below as well as the impressed number 1713/lll and the artist’s. It also has the painter’s number 219 painted in black.

This wonderful Borzoi is in excellent, flawless condition.

Against this dog’s high gloss solid white body, the delicate black details draw you in and grab your attention and appreciation for such an amazing capture of the “soul” of this most incredible breed.
