This vintage plate features a beautiful portrait of a Fox Terrier dog.
The artwork was done by Raymond Waites, who is recognized as the leader and founder of the American Country movement in Home Furnishings in the 1980’s.

This heavy, stoneware plate measures 10″ in diameter, and it is in excellent, ready-to-display condition.
It is done on a background of black, that really shows off the Fox Terrier’s warm cream , deep brown and caramel fur colors, against a natural background of forest colors.
The dish is also trimmed in gold, which adds a nice touch of elegance.
