This sweet portrait is done with oil on board, and it is framed in a heavy dark wood, detailed in gold frame, under glass.

It is unsigned but is recognized as being done in the early 19th century in the American School.

The original work included a fourth dog, also a Jack Russell puppy, seated to the far right of the standing pup.

Measuring 11 1/2″ tall x 13 3/4″ long, it is in excellent, ready-to-hang condition.
