This charming print captures four Jack Russell Terrier puppies, two are sound asleep, while the third is standing, wide awake, intently inspecting a bug, and the fourth is seated and looking off slightly to one side, as though he was glancing at the artist.
This sweet portrait is an original print, and it is framed in a gilded wood, rectangular frame, under glass.
It was originally painted by the American artist, Elda Durham Cutler (1864-1944.) Her signature can be seen on the lower left corner of the artwork.
The original work, was painted in 1894.
Measuring 11 1/2″ tall x 13 3/4″ long, it is in excellent, ready-to-hang condition.
