This whimsical Jack Russell dog seems to be in quite a hurry.

He was issued by Royal Doulton in 1937 as part of the “Dogs of Character” series, which was a series of 12 dogs, modeled in various poses, and believed to be inspired by the works of Cecil Aldin, a popular British artist and illustrator.

This wonderful pup has a perfect high gloss finish, and bears the green Royal Doulton backstamp and the mold # H.N. 2510. He is in excellent condition and stands 3″ tall x 5 1/2″ long x 1 1/2″ wide.
