Vintage Print Sealyham and Pekingese on Artist’s Pastels Box

There is a story to be found in this original print of two Sealyham puppies, protecting an artist’s box of pastels from an energetic Pekingese puppy.

Measuring 8 1/2″ tall x 10″ long, this vintage dog portrait is in great condition. It is signed by the artist, but the signature is tucked so close to the bottom edge of the frame, it is difficult to read. It is framed under glass, so the painting has been protected. The black painted frame, however, is slightly separated at the bottom left-hand corner, and it has a few small chips along the bottom.

It is an old piece that still looks charming just as it is. And of course, you just can’t beat the subject matter!
