This wonderful Mortens Studio Standard Poodle is in mint condition.

The designer of this figurine, Oscar Morten, immigrated from Sweden to the U.S. and opened a giftware studio in Chicago in 1931. Over the next 32 years, he created over 300 popular dog and horse models.
Composed of ceramic over a metal skeleton, these figurines, although beautiful and engaging, were prone to crazing and flaking, thus making it difficult, today, to find examples in perfect condition.

This elegant Standard Poodle stands 3″ tall x 4″ long x 1 1/2″ wide. Please note that any white “spots” that appear in the pictures are just reflections that the camera picks up off of this Poodle’s wonderful, high gloss finish.

She is so beautifully detailed, that you can see nearly every curled strand of fur on her coat!

She  will certainly be a fabulous addition to a Mortens Studio dog collection and the perfect addition to the home of a Standard Poodle owner, trainer or breeder!
