This sweet pair of Mid-Century Staffordshire Poodle dogs are tiny, but exquisite.
Made in England c. 1860 – 1880, they are decorated “in the round” (to front and back), and have shredded clay to simulate a Poodle’s
curly coat.
They are both resting on a cobalt blue base, with a wavy edge. You can see a remaining small section of the gilt line that once embellished the front of the base.
Together, they measure 2 3/4″ tall x 2 1/2″ long x 1 1/2″ wide. They are in excellent condition with some mild crazing on the underside of the base that you would expect on a figurine of this age.
The last picture shows them displayed with the other two similar Staffordshire poodles and Puppies, that we currently have in stock. As you can see, they look gorgeous together.
If you would like to purchase the set of three, please contact me so that I can adjust your invoice accordingly. The price for the set of three is $420.
