Kenneth Haley Glass Boxer Dog Collectible
These adorable glass boxers look like the very best of friends. One is stretched out in a comfortable pose, and the other is seated with a sweet and curious expression on it’s face. Both will immediately remind you of those wonderful “puppy days” with your boxer!
They were designed by Kenneth R. Haley (1946-1973), a master glass mold maker and the son of Reuben Haley, also a well- known glass designer. These pieces were produced by The American Glass Company. Each one is a version of the same dog, which was based on the dog that belonged to Mr. Lowitz, the owner of the American Glass Company.
Both are in excellent condition. The reclining dog measures 7 1/2″ long x 3 3/4″ tall x 2 1/2″ wide. The seated dog measures 4″ long x 4 1/2″ tall x 3 1/2″ wide. You can find these fabulous figurines on page 7 of “Glass Animals of the Depression Era” by Dick Spencer.
We are offering these two pups for sale as a pair because they look so amazing together! Sold as a set.
