No matter which way you turn it, this porcelain figurine of a Skye Terrier dog is absolutely exquisite.
This wonderful Art Deco dog measures 5″ tall x x8 1/2″ long x 2 1/4″ wide and it is in excellent condition. It was modeled by Erich Oehme at the Meissen Factory, Saxony Germany, c.1930’s. It is marked on the underside of the base with the blue scepter mark.
This Blanc de Chine porcelain is so exquisitely detailed, color is unnecessary. The lavish fur lines, and the dog’s adorable expression makes it seem almost alive. There is no doubt that it will be a wonderful focal point of any room.
It would be a unique and magnificent addition to any collection, the perfect gift for any Skye enthusiast, and a gorgeous decorative accent to any home.
