This beautifully detailed Wire-Haired Fox Terrier was created by the National Potteries Corporation (NAPCO) of Bedford, Ohio. This company became known for its consistently well-designed work in both porcelain and glass, and was quite popular throughout the 1950’s and 1960’s.It has since regained its popularity, mostly due to the intricate detailing and beauty of its designs, as well as the affordability of its pieces as collectibles. This standing dog seems to exude confidence, with the focused and determined look that is typical for this intelligent and independent breed. He is meticulously hand-painted, and he is is excellent condition. He stands 5″ tall x 4 1/2″ long x 1 3/4″ wide. He would look wonderful on a desk or grouped with a mix of other dogs, in various mediums. Our last picture shows him with a sitting Wire-Haired Fox Terrier, also a NAPCO, and they look fantastic together!
