This large, enchanting, porcelain Pointer dog was made in the Gebruder Heubach Lichte Porcelain Factory sometime between 1890-1925. He is in excellent condition and sits a full 7″ tall x 6″ long x 4 1/2″ wide. If you think he is looking at you…he is. His doleful, expressive eyes will seem to follow you all around the room. He is extremely well-molded, showing long, droopy ears large “puppy paws” with nails, even a characteristic “chubby” puppy belly! He is marked with the Heubach blue sunburst mark, as well as the incised Heubach mark. All-in-all, this dog is everything you would expect from the kind of master workmanship that came out of this German factory in the early 1900’s. This engaging dog would make a wonderful addition to your collection, or an amazing stand-alone, decorative piece in your home.
