This wonderful Rosenthal Boston Terrier dog figurine is every bit the model of his handsome, intelligent, and loving flesh and fur counterpart. This very popular breed originated in the USA and is often called the “American Gentleman.” Lying elegantly with his smart black and white coat, you can certainly tell why. He was designed in the 1890’s by Fritz Heindenreich, and this figurine was made up through the end of the 1950’s. He is artist-signed along the side of his body, but the only portion that can still be seen is the end of Heindenreich’s name. He measures a full 8 3/4″ long x 4 1/2″ tall x 3 3/8″ wide and he is in excellent condition. His bold, black and white colors vary with lighter and darker glaze, which gives a beautiful definition and texture to his fur.
He is the perfect addition to any Boston Terrier collection, and certainly one of the very best models of this classy breed.
