This wonderful, matched pair of porcelain terrier dogs could be Scotties, Silky Terriers, Schnauzers, or even Skye Terriers. They were designed by Walter Bosse for Metzler & Ortloff of Germany. They are beautifully detailed both with color and in design. Their color palette includes a creamy white, and a soft grey shading to accentuate their fur lines. They have deep fur lines, that can be seen all the way around these pups, that add tremendously to their Art Deco charm. They are well- marked with a black Metzler & Ortloff stamps, and they are also marked “Germany” on the underside of their front paws. The smaller dog is 1 1/4″ tall x 2″ long x 3/4″ wide. The larger dog is 2 1/4″ tall x 4″ long x 1 1/2″ wide. Both of these whimsical dogs are in excellent condition. Both are highly collectible and adorable as well. They came to use together, and therefore we are keeping them that way. It is not hard to see how perfect and delightful they look as a pair. These pups will absolutely steal your heart!
