Art Deco Scottish Terrier Dog Figurine c.1930’s

This uniquely special Art Deco Scottish Terrier dog figurine was made in Czechoslovakia during the 1930’s.

It is made of terracotta with a very high gloss, ebony black glaze. The only other color on this elegant dog figurine is on his collar, which is done in a rich carnelian red.

There is a tender quality to this Scottie pup, both in its expression and in its comfortable, reclining position. The glaze gives it a liquid, magical look.

This engaging dog measures 3 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ long x 3 1/2″ wide and it is in excellent condition.
