Vintage Kay Finch Boxer Dog Dish
Circa 1950s
This wonderful example of California Art Pottery was created by Kay Finch in the 1950’s – 1960’s.
Her simple, but sleek designs, added with her passion for sculpting animals, makes this piece a beautiful example of her work.
It features a standing Boxer dog, done in the relief mode. The color is a rich, chocolate brown with a high gloss finish.
It is well marked on the underside, and it is in excellent condition.
This wonderful piece measures 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ square. It has manufactured holes on the back to string a wire through, if you decide to use it as wall decor. It is also perfect as a pin dish, to hold jewelry, cuff links, keys, or small items on your desk.
It would make a wonderful, highly collectible gift for any lover of this fabulous Boxer breed.
