This wonderful, folk art painting of a Saint Bernard dog has that wonderful, warm touch that really brings this young dog to life.

Just looking at his sad, droopy eyes, you’ll want to consider taking a nap alongside of him.

This dog portrait is in excellent condition, and is triple-matted, with another background of deep brown burlap, and framed under glass. It is signed by the artist, “S. Rowell.”

Measuring a full 17 1/2″ tall x 19″ wide, it is quite a heavy piece, with a substantial and beautiful solid wood frame.

The frame has some small nicks along the bottom and left sides (as seen in the pictures), but they do not detract from this engaging dog portrait.
