This wonderful dog figurine, made in “Occupied Japan” is the sweet combination of a Terrier dog “Mom” and her bashful puppy. From the look on her face, you can certainly tell that this is one protective dog! She is one of the many items made in Japan, specifically for export between 1945 – 1955. What makes this wonderful pair even more collectible is that this figurine is also a corked bottle. Used for perhaps either perfume or a cordial, it is in excellent condition showing minor spots where the label would have been. Sitting 3 1/4″ tall x 3 1/4″ long x 2″ wide, these two dogs will just melt your heart!. They will certainly be a great addition to an “Occupied Japan” collection. But if you would like to add a sweet sentimental touch to your vanity, or give someone you love a unique and special Mother’s Day gift…they would certainly make a wonderful choice.
