This wonderful, vintage cast brass doorstop, made to look like a Cocker Spaniel dog, and called “Dream Boy”, was handcrafted by one of the most highly regarded American brass companies of the 20th century. At 9″ tall x 7″wide, he is in excellent condition. He is clearly marked “Dream Boy” VA Metalcrafters, Waynesboro, VA, copyright 1949. He is a beautiful example of a mid-century modern figural doorstop. He would make a truly unique addition to any canine collection, and a special decorative piece for any Cocker Spaniel enthusiast.
