The Moira Pottery Company, Ltd. Was started in 1922, and ran until 1972 when it was demolished because the land it stood upon was a coal reserve. This unique pitcher was part of their “Farmhouse” line, depicting 19th century advertisements. It is clearly stamped “Made in England by Moira Pottery Co. Ltd”. We just love it for the ad that states: “Buchan’s Carbolic Disinfecting Soap” The Best Dog Soap in the World. A fun gift for a dog-loving household. Practical and humorous!
