This exquisite terra cotta Pug dog originated in England in the late 19th century.
It is beautifully-detailed with every fur line, skin fold and muscle shown in amazing detail. He has piercing, black and russet, inset glass eyes that truly make him look quite real.
His expression is dignified, but he also seems to look very alert, as though he is paying careful attention to what is being said to him.
Measuring 5 1/2″ tall x 3″ long x 2 1/4″ wide, he is in excellent condition.
