Blue Mountain Pottery Hound Dog
Circa early 1970’s
This unique dog is a wonderful, vintage, Blue Mountain Pottery piece in excellent condition.
Sitting a full 14″ tall x 7″ long x 5″ wide, he is the tallest dog produced by the company, and he was produced during the early 1970’s.
He was made from the famous Collingwood, Ontario rich, red clay enhanced with the company’s trademarked multi-toned green and black glass.
The Blue Mountain Pottery facility opened for business in 1953, and closed in 2004. For pottery collectors, this wonderful dog is a fabulous addition to your collection. And he is the perfect gift for all those who fondly remember the late 60’s and 70’s!
