OTHER UNIQUE COLLECTIBLES
Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, as do canine collectibles. Over the years, as the bond between humans and canines became stronger, more items, from the exquisite to the ordinary were created in the likeness of a dog.
Once-in-a-while, we come across a dog-themed antique or vintage piece that is unique, or “a breed apart” from what you would ordinarily see. An inkwell, a butter-press, a dress clip are just a few interesting examples.
For true collectors of “all things canine” such items can cause us to mimic the exuberance shown by a real dog at the sound of the can opener!
Enjoy! Some of these items are probably just what you were hoping to “fetch.” Others (we hope) will surprise and delight you as well…
