Antique Sterling Silver Collie Dog Baby Spoon

This sweet, antique baby feeding spoon is solid sterling silver and it features a very detailed Collie dog’s head on the curved handle.

The spoon is 3″ long and the bowl of the spoon is 1 1/2″ long x 1 1/4″ in diameter.

It is in excellent condition, with some very mild scratches that are expected, considering its age, c.1902.

It is marked “sterling” on the inside of the handle. The hanging ribbon sashes that hang above and below the Collie dog’s head, gives it that very Edwardian formality and appeal.

This elegant spoon would make a truly unique and special baby gift, and it would also make a perfect addition to any Collie dog collection.
