This magnificent large, hard paste porcelain figurine shows off the Boxer dog with all of its strength and dignity. It was designed and manufactured in Volkstedt, Thuringia, Germany (E. Germany) by Karl Ens, and the maker’s mark dates it between 1935-1940. It is also impressed with the model number 7349. This muscular dog stands a full 8 1/2″ tall x 7 1/2″ long x 2 1/2″ wide. He has “flea flick” marks on the tip of each ear and nose, that do not in any significant way detract from his appearance. He is in otherwise excellent condition. If you have never considered this breed as a favorite, this Boxer may cause you to change your mind. Lovers and collectors of the breed will be just mesmerized by this guy’s extraordinary countenance and form! He will look amazing on his own on a desk, bookshelf or table. As part of a collection, he will easily take “Best-in-Show”.
